Deadline for registration: November 1st, 2016

All competitors must report at least 30 minutes before their round to the On Deck Captain. Competitor numbers left at the registration desk 60 minutes before their round will be considered as NO SHOW.

Entries: All changes must be made before the beginning of the competition. Last minute changes will not be accepted. Each competitor is responsible for reviewing his entries on November 9th, 2016 at the latest, on Canadance Website at

Release of Indemnification: Participants, competitors, spectators, staff or guests hereby forever release and discharge Canadance Productions, Inc., its Organizers, Officers, Sponsors, Employees or Volunteers, from liability for the following: loss or theft of articles left in changing rooms, ballroom or hotel rooms; injuries sustained by any participant or any other person attending this event. All persons attending this event, as spectators, officials, competitors, vendors, volunteers or as guests of the Organizers, do so at his or her own risk. The organizers reserve the right to reject any entry which has been submitted by a competitor who has been disrespectful towards the officials and/or does not abide by event’s rules and regulations.

Food and Drink: No outside food or drink will be allowed in the ballroom at any time.

Cancellation Policy: Entry fees can be cancelled without penalty before November 1st, 2016. After November 1st, there will be no refund on cancellation of entries. All refunds will be processed 30 days after the event. No refunds for admission or meal tickets. All ticket sales are final.

Amateurs: Amateur events are sanctioned by CDF/CDCC. For Canadian couples, each amateur competitor must hold their current registration NDCC to compete. Amateur couples from the USA should be registered with NDCA. Amateur Competition Rules and Regulation, Dress Code and Syllabus Step Lists are available on NDCC website at

Professionals competing in Pro-Am and/or Professional: Canadian Professionals must hold their 2016 Professional Registration with CDF ( Professionals from the USA must hold their 2016 Professional Registration with NDCA.

Pro-Am: Pro-Am students do not need to be registered with any association. Ladies and gentlemen will be judged separately during single dances, but will be judged together during Championships and Scholarships. There will be no substituting of a student for another student. To be eligible for a Scholarship, a student must dance a minimum of 10 single dances. Duration of a Solo Exhibition shall not exceed 3 minutes.
